X156 12/2013 - 11/2019 Designer : Robert Lešnik , Mark Fetherston (Exterior) , Hans Peter Wunderlich (Interior) , Gorden Wagener Mercedes-Benz's first compact crossover SUV, built on the MFA platform. Essentially a raised A-Class (W176) with SUV styling cues, it combined city-friendly dimensions with an outdoorsy character. The AMG GLA 45 produced 360 ps from its turbocharged four-cylinder, competing for the title of fastest compact SUV.

H247 12/2019 - Designer : Balázs Filczer , Gordon Schlie (Exterior) , Jonathan Wienert (Interior) , Gorden Wagener Moved to the MFA II platform with a notably taller body, significantly expanding headroom and interior practicality. MBUX brought a fully digital cockpit experience. An EV variant sharing bodywork with the EQA was introduced as part of Mercedes-Benz's electrification drive. The AMG GLA 45 S produces 421 ps from its turbocharged four-cylinder.

H243 02/2021 - 2025 Designer : Balázs Filczer A compact BEV model built on the MFA II platform shared with the 2nd generation GLA (H247). Lineup includes front-wheel drive (EQA 250) and dual-motor 4MATIC (EQA 300 / 350).The successor is scheduled to be based on the next-generation MMA platform.

Note: The EQA 250+ announced in 2022 features a 70.5 kWh battery with up to 540 km WLTP range. Supports DC fast charging up to 100 kW (10–80% in approx. 33 mins). Features the signature EQ black panel grille and full-width LED light bar. Underfloor battery placement results in a higher rear floor and a 340 L boot capacity (approx. 100 L less than the GLA).
